Transitions

Last week was officially our last week in Nashville. We drove all day Sunday to Myrtle Beach and we will spend the week here leading worship for a youth camp. We will drive back to Nashville on Friday, un-pack, re-pack, clean, and head out Sunday for the last part of our summer sabattical to Breckenridge, CO.

After 7-8 weeks, I felt settled in Nashville. We had a nice routine, an easy pace, and I was dreading the transition a little bit. Not that I was dreading Myrtle Beach or Breckenridge at all, but transitions are harder for me. I didn't want to think about packing and driving and all the stuff that is ten times harder to do with 3 kids.

So last week I went into a kind of denial/apathy and didn't do much of anything. I kind of felt tempted to try squeeze a bunch of last-minute sight seeing stuff in, but I decided I just wanted to rest, hang out with the kids, read, and watch movies at night. I also knew I had to do normal stuff like run errands and get ready to move again. So, that left no time for blogging.

I have a good bit of stuff I'd still like to post about our time in Nashville so I'll be posting that stuff in the coming weeks as well as the stuff we're doing now.
