Radnor Lake (#48 on our list)

About a week ago, I told Ross that one of the things missing from out time in Nashville was some kind of beautiful outdoor adventure. We've been riding our bikes and running around the neighborhood, and we've been to a few parks, but Tennessee is a beautiful place and I really hadn't seen much of it. There are lakes and state parks really close to us so I want to start enjoying those before our time here is done.
There is a small lake near our house with some hiking trails up the mountain and some paved areas for running and bike riding. We went last Sunday for a long bike ride. As soon as we got there, we realized Jude's tire was flat on his bike, so both he and Naomi had to ride in the bike trailer. That was not an easy trailer to pull so Ross and I took turns. I went back Tuesday morning for a long run by myself. Running alongside the lake was one of the most refreshing times I've had since being gone. As I was finishing up my run, I came across a deer standing in the middle of the road, in no hurry to move. I stopped and we both looked at each other for a while before it slowly moved on. I think Radnor Lake will become a regular place for us now, and next time I plan to hike up to the top of the hill overlooking the lake.
