My sis

My sister, Brooke, came to visit the first week we were here in Nashville. We had such a great time together and she was my biggest helper. You see, the kids and I flew in on a Monday and that Thursday Ross had to leave for a songwriter's retreat. Thursday was also the day we moved into the Osenga's house. Since Ross was gone, having Brooke here to help me get settled in was a wonderful blessing. She is an organizing, cleaning machine so she had my suitcases unpacked and my stuff put away in a jiffy.

She is also the beloved Aunt Brookee and was never without a child hanging on her every word. She is truly that fun aunt that you see in movies. The one who loves to have exciting pretend adventures, who loves to tickle and be tickled, who loves to talk, laugh, listen, and be silly.
She is also my comrade in movie watching. Back when she was in school at A&M, we would go see every halfway decent chick-flick that came to the theater. (I miss her dearly in that regard.) So after the kids were tucked in each night, we watched movies...some good, some not so good and spent lots of time talking and sharing our hearts. She is sweet, fun, funny, full of life, honest, adventurous, and someone I can be myself around. I love my sis.
