We spent our first 2 days in Nashville basically being tourists. The house we're staying in (Alison and Andrew Osenga) wasn’t available until Thursday, the 27th so we stayed at the Homewood Suites in Brentwood. The first morning we drove to historic downtown Franklin and walked around enjoying the shops, food, and history.
First things first: a little treat for me and Ross.

then, being the good parents that we are, we let our kids eat ice cream and candy for brunch
And then, what morning could be complete without a stop at the local toy store?
More walking and then some real lunch...
