Potty Partners

I am desperately trying to potty train Naomi. It is proving to be the most challenging of all three kids so far, probably because I have less time to focus on it. In so many ways, Naomi acts older than her 2 1/2 years, but in this way, she is determined to stay a "baby." She has only gone in the potty one time and it was (not joking here) after I had just implored God to help her do it. Since then, she has decided she does not want to do it and no amount of prizes or encouragment from me or the boys of the house will help.
I had to capture this moment when she and Jude decided to be potty partners one day. Jude was helping me in trying to get Naomi to use her potty chair and he did it all on his own. I walked in to them facing each other in the bathroom and it was too cute to pass up.

It's like we're living parallel baby-girl lives. We spent months and used all sorts of incentives too. Mia JUST finally made the decision (Brody was done and sleeping in underpants by her age) to start going on the potty. This happened bc Kevin started putting her in undies. She wet for a few days and then got it. PTL!! Keep up the good work...
